Take a Tour of Florida’s Forts

The Castillo de San Marcos National Monument in historic St. Augustine gives people of all ages a glimpse into the past. The oldest standing European fort in the country, the Castillo de San Marcos offers guided tours of the site and cannon fire demonstrations. Visitors in the area should also check out Fort Matanzas National Monument, located 14 miles south of the city.
